Royal Children’s Hospital Therapeutic Garden

Our connection with the Royal Children’s Hospital is deeply personal, spanning over 25 years. This long-standing relationship inspired the vision for the Therapeutic Garden — a healing space within the hospital precinct designed for children, families, and staff to reconnect with nature.

The garden offers a range of therapeutic benefits, including exposure to fresh air, sunlight, natural scents, and tactile elements — all of which help soothe the senses and promote wellbeing.

For patients and their families, the garden provides a welcome escape from the clinical environment, offering moments of calm and relief from the stresses of medical treatment. For staff, it serves as a peaceful space to decompress and find respite from the demands of their work.

K2LD, in partnership with Nurture the Future, has proudly raised funds and volunteered our services to support the creation and ongoing care of this life-giving space.
